Fort Worth, TX — A Tarrant County jury has found David Johnson, 43, guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child and sentenced him to life in prison without parole, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office said.

According to the DA’s office, Johnson was released from prison in October 2025. Three days later, he sexually assaulted a six-year-old girl.

Johnson had previously been imprisoned for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Assistant District Attorneys Sydney Brock and Olivia Stoner prosecuted the case. Investigator Tiffany Johnson and victim coordinator Elizabeth Garcia also worked on the case. The DA’s office credited the Fort Worth Police Department for its investigation.
