Shiner, TX — The Shiner Independent School District is mourning the loss of staff member Melissa Gomez, remembered by the district for her dedication and care for the school community.
According to Shiner ISD, Gomez worked each day to keep the school’s halls and classrooms welcoming for students, teachers and fellow staff members.
The district said her dedication to the school and the people she served will not be forgotten and expressed condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Shiner ISD did not provide additional information regarding her death.
