Mansfield, TX — Mansfield Police Sergeant J. Ramirez was recently recognized by the United States Secret Service for investigative work that helped put offenders who committed internet crimes against children behind bars.
According to the Mansfield Police Department, Ramirez performed the investigative work while serving as a detective, prior to his promotion to sergeant.
Special Agent Keith Polozola, described by the department as a longtime friend of Ramirez, presented him with a plaque and commemorative coin recognizing his investigative efforts.
The department said the recognition reflects Ramirez’s dedication to justice and his work protecting vulnerable members of the community.
Mansfield Police also thanked the U.S. Secret Service for its continued partnership in efforts to protect children and communities from crimes committed online.
