Burleson County, TX — The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing Margie, a 911 operator with more than four years of experience, as one of the calm voices behind the scenes.
The department said she has shown she can stay cool and collected even when the call on the other end of the line is anything but. Dispatch work takes patience, quick thinking, compassion, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure, the sheriff’s office said.
Officials thanked Margie for her service and for being a steady voice when the community needs it most.
