Montgomery County, TX — A narcotics investigation led to the seizure of drugs, a firearm and approximately $30,000 in cash from a smoke and vape shop in south Montgomery County on August 18.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team, Homeland Security Investigations and the Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at Exotic Kings Smoke & Vape, located at 324 Rayford Road. Authorities said the business is directly next to a child daycare center.
The operation followed what authorities described as an extensive narcotics investigation prompted by multiple tips from the public.
Investigators reported seizing:
• Nearly 7 pounds of marijuana
• More than 1,200 grams of THC vape devices
• More than 4,000 grams of THC edible products
• One firearm
• Approximately $30,000 in cash believed to be connected to illicit drug sales
Mohamed Elwaseem, 25, was taken into custody and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where authorities said he was being held on a $50,000 bond.
