Harris County, TX — A man was arrested after deputies responded to a reported theft in progress at a Walmart in northwest Harris County on August 17.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded to the Walmart in the 26200 block of Northwest Freeway and located the suspect, identified as Gregg Lestingi.
Investigators said Lestingi passed all points of sale without paying for $422.44 worth of merchandise. The stolen merchandise was recovered.
Lestingi was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a theft charge. His bond was set at $100 through County Court 10.
Charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
