Collin County, TX — Collin County Sheriff’s Department deputy Mikel Green is preparing to trade his uniform for boxing gloves as he represents the department in the Guns & Hoses event benefiting North Texas first responders.
According to the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, Green has been training with his coach, Joby, at the Allen police boxing gym in preparation for fight night.
The organization also highlighted the support Green has received from his wife, Leah, and his children throughout his training.
Guns & Hoses brings members of the first responder community into the boxing ring while supporting a cause connected to those who serve North Texas.
