McLennan County, TX — A woman was killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a passenger car on West Lake Creek Road near Riesel, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS said the crash was reported around 11:38 a.m. Tuesday.
The woman was pronounced deceased following the crash. Her name had not been released as of Tuesday afternoon pending notification of next of kin.
Troopers remained at the scene gathering information as the investigation continued.
