Lewisville, TX – Drivers traveling along Interstate 35E should prepare for a series of scheduled lane closures beginning Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to the Lewisville Office of Emergency Management.
The Texas Department of Transportation has scheduled overnight work through Friday, Aug. 21, followed by an additional daytime closure on Monday, Aug. 31.
TUESDAY, AUG. 18
Two left main lanes of northbound I-35E will close at 9 p.m. from roughly the Olive Garden restaurant to near the Tuff Shed lot while crews install a mile marker sign for the Corporate Drive exit.
Reopening: 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 19
One northbound I-35E main lane will close at 9 p.m. from roughly the Aw Shucks restaurant to the SH-121 Business interchange for barrier work. A second right main lane will close at 10 p.m.
Reopening: 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20
THURSDAY, AUG. 20
One southbound I-35E main lane will close at 9 p.m. from roughly the SH-121 Business interchange to Park Street for barrier work. A second right main lane will close at 10 p.m.
Reopening: 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21

One right main lane of southbound I-35E will close at 9 p.m. from County Ridge Road to Kia Drive for barrier work. A second right main lane will close at 10 p.m.
Reopening: 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21
MONDAY, AUG. 31
The left lane of the southbound I-35E service road and the SH-121 Business flyover will close at 9 a.m. from Lakeland Plaza to SH-121 Business for striping operations.
Expected reopening: Around 3:30 p.m.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and avoid the affected areas when possible.
