Sugar Land, TX – Two 3-year-old Chihuahuas named Mango and Dobey are recovering in the care of Sugar Land Animal Services and are now looking for foster homes or rescue organizations willing to help with the next stage of their recovery.
The dogs are dealing with Demodex and are currently timid, according to the shelter. They would benefit from a quiet, caring environment where they can continue recovering and build their confidence.
Sugar Land Animal Services said Demodex is not contagious to people or other pets. The shelter will also provide the necessary medical care while Mango and Dobey are in foster care.
