Parker County, TX – Three people were killed after a structure fire Monday night, Aug. 17, on Lake Country Drive in southern Parker County.
Parker County ESD 6 firefighters were dispatched at approximately 9:51 p.m. after receiving reports of a structure fire with three occupants unaccounted for.
Firefighters arrived to find the structure fully engulfed in flames and began an offensive fire attack while working to gain access to the building.
During an interior search, firefighters located two victims. A third victim was found a short time later. All three were confirmed deceased.
Mutual aid was provided by the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department and North Hood County Volunteer Fire Department.
The Parker County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
