Houston, TX – A Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division special agent has received national recognition for work on a major corporate security fraud investigation involving more than $140,000 in losses.
According to DPS, the Houston-based special agent was honored during The Home Depot National Award Ceremony for professionalism, diligence and partnership during the investigation.
DPS said the agent reviewed credit card data, banking records and sales comparisons to help determine the scope of the alleged scheme, build the case and support the arrest of a suspect on felony charges.
The special agent has chosen to remain anonymous to protect their identity and preserve the integrity of current and future investigations.
