Tarrant County, TX — A Tarrant County jury found 57-year-old Derrick Denson guilty of indecency with a child by exposure and sentenced him to 19 years in prison, according to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors said the case stemmed from an incident in November 2023 involving a 13-year-old girl.
According to the district attorney’s office, Denson exposed himself to the child and performed a sexual act in front of her.
The case was prosecuted by Melinda Hogan and Michael Vera, with investigators Michael McGuire and Dara DeWall also credited for their work.
The Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office thanked the Arlington Police Department for its work on the case.
