Texas — Peacock subscribers are facing another price increase as the streaming service raises rates across all three of its subscription plans.
The new pricing took effect Aug. 18 for new and returning subscribers. Existing subscribers will begin seeing the higher rates on their next billing date on or after Sept. 17.
New Monthly Prices:
• Peacock Select: $7.99 → $8.99
• Peacock Premium: $10.99 → $12.99
• Peacock Premium Plus: $16.99 → $19.99
That means Premium Plus subscribers will pay an additional $3 per month, while Premium increases by $2 and Select rises by $1. Annual subscription prices are also increasing.
Peacock Select is the service’s lower-cost, ad-supported option with a more limited content selection. Premium includes Peacock’s full movie and original programming catalog along with live sports, while Premium Plus removes ads from most on-demand programming and includes downloads and access to a subscriber’s local NBC station. Some programming, including live events, may still contain advertisements.
The latest increase comes as Peacock continues expanding its sports offerings, including NFL Sunday Night Football, NBA, MLB, WNBA and Premier League coverage.
The streaming service has approximately 48 million paid subscribers and recently reported its first profitable quarter.
Current subscribers may want to check their next billing date and subscription tier before the new rates take effect.
