Arlington, TX – More than 80 firefighters responded to a four-alarm commercial fire at Beirut Grill in the 2400 block of West Abram Street, according to the Arlington Fire Department.
The fire occurred Monday as crews worked for hours in extreme heat to bring the large blaze under control.
The four-alarm response included 13 engines, four ladder trucks and multiple support units. The Pantego Fire Department and AMR Arlington also assisted.
No civilians were injured. One firefighter was transported for smoke inhalation and was reported in stable condition.
Arlington Fire also recognized neighboring businesses that opened their doors to give firefighters a place to cool down and get relief from the dangerous heat while crews rotated through the operation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
