Lubbock County, TX — The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office announced two promotions this week, with Sgt. Coffman and Sgt. Adams stepping into new leadership roles.

Sgt. Coffman will oversee a Patrol shift after serving most recently as a Patrol Corporal. He joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2014, beginning his career in the Detention Center before earning his peace officer certification and moving to the Court Division. He later joined the LSO SWAT team and transitioned to Patrol.

Sgt. Adams will serve as a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division. He joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2019 and most recently worked as a deputy in the Street Crimes Division. His previous assignments include the Texas Anti-Gang Center, and he also serves on the LSO SWAT team.

The promotions place both sergeants in new supervisory roles within the department.
