Alvarado, TX — The Alvarado Fire Department is recognizing Firefighter Ethan Baker after he successfully completed his probationary task book, marking a major milestone in his development with the department.
According to the department, Baker completed the task book in 11 months, demonstrating the knowledge and skills required to serve the Alvarado community.
The department also credited members of C Shift for their role in the process, including mentoring, teaching, evaluating and supporting Baker throughout his probationary period.
Alvarado Fire highlighted the accomplishment as part of its broader commitment to emergency preparedness, which includes training, apparatus and equipment maintenance, fire inspections, public education, emergency planning and mutual aid support.
The department said continued preparation and firefighter development help strengthen its ability to serve the community both during emergencies and before they occur.
