Rockwall County, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation is inviting the public to learn more about a proposed project to widen and reconstruct FM 35 from Interstate 30 to FM 2642 in Rockwall and Hunt counties.
An in-person public meeting will be held in an open-house format:

TxDOT will also provide virtual public meeting materials for residents who cannot attend in person. The virtual meeting is not a live event, and materials will remain available through Friday, September 4, 2026.
The meeting gives residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed widening and reconstruction of the FM 35 corridor.
