West University Place, TX — Three cadets sponsored by the West University Place Police Department have begun their training at the Pearland Police Academy as they work toward becoming certified police officers.
The cadets started the academy last week and will spend the coming months completing training in areas including criminal law, patrol procedures, traffic enforcement and investigations.
The academy marks the beginning of their path toward eventually serving the West University Place community as police officers.
WUPD welcomed the three cadets and wished them success as they begin their law enforcement training.
