Newton County, TX — Drivers traveling through Bleakwood should prepare for a two-day closure of the railroad crossing on State Highway 87 while crews perform work on the railroad tracks.
According to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, the crossing will be closed:
Tuesday, August 18
7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 19
7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, use an alternate route and allow additional time for travel.
