Harris County, TX – A 43-year-old man was arrested on a felony theft charge after a reported shoplifting incident along the Gulf Freeway, according to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office.

Deputy Crider responded Aug. 13 to a business in the 19400 block of the Gulf Freeway following a report of shoplifting.

The Constable’s Office said the deputy located the suspect nearby and recovered approximately $230 worth of merchandise.

The suspect was identified as Kevin Hunsucker. During the investigation, authorities determined Hunsucker had two or more previous theft convictions.

Hunsucker was taken into custody and charged with felony theft with two or more previous convictions. He was booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center without incident.

Charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
