East Mountain, TX — Firefighters with the East Mountain Volunteer Fire Department have been outfitted with new protective gear as the department continues investing in equipment for its crews.
Several firefighters were fitted for the new gear Saturday. The department said the equipment will help members perform their duties safely and effectively while responding to emergencies in the community.
EMVFD described the new equipment as an investment in the men and women who answer calls for service and said the department continues working to improve its resources and readiness.
