Harris County, TX – A driver was arrested Sunday after authorities said she refused to stop for Harris County Precinct 4 constable deputies and led them on a brief pursuit.

According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle in the 5000 block of FM 2920 on August 16. The driver allegedly refused to stop and a pursuit followed.

Deputies were eventually able to stop the vehicle and identified the driver as Tasha Mitchell.

Mitchell was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.

Bond: $10,000
Court: 495th District Court

Constable Mark Herman said deputies were able to bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion.

Charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
