Montgomery County, TX — An aircraft landed safely after emergency crews were placed on standby Monday for a flight experiencing possible engine issues.

According to the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office, its AR-1 aircraft rescue and firefighting unit was standing by for the incoming flight. The aircraft landed safely and was escorted from the controlled movement area without incident.

The Fire Marshal’s Office also highlighted AR-1, a 2010 KME ARFF apparatus capable of carrying 1,500 gallons of water along with foam and dry chemical extinguishing agents.

No incident was reported following the landing.
