Harris County, TX — A traffic stop in the Crosby area led to the discovery of cocaine and two firearms, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 3.
Deputies stopped a vehicle near Crosby Lynchburg Road and Floyd after observing that it had no license plates. Authorities said several additional violations were discovered, including no driver’s license and no insurance, and the vehicle was being towed.
During an inventory of the vehicle, deputies reported finding an AR-15-style pistol. Deputies said an occupant was also found in possession of cocaine and a 9mm handgun.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Authorities did not identify the person arrested in the information released.
Charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
