San Marcos, TX — Move-in is underway at Texas State University as thousands of new and returning Bobcats and their families make their way to campus.
Texas State University Police Department officers, public safety officers, support staff and student employees are working throughout the day to direct traffic across campus and on streets throughout San Marcos.
University Police Chief Carmichael said crews will spend hours working in the Texas heat while helping students and families navigate the busy move-in period.
Move-In Traffic Reminder
Drivers traveling near Texas State University should be prepared for heavier traffic as students continue arriving on campus. Give officers and personnel directing traffic room to work and follow posted traffic directions.
