Victoria, TX — A community service project is giving fire hydrants in Victoria’s Meadow Lane area some much-needed attention.
The Victoria Fire Department teamed up with Eagle Scout candidate Aaron Buesing and members of BSA Troop 363 to pressure wash and paint fire hydrants in the neighborhood.
The work is intended to help keep the hydrants clean, visible and ready for use when needed.
The Fire Department thanked Aaron and Troop 363 for giving back to the Victoria community through the service project.
A little paint, some hard work and a community partnership are helping keep an important piece of fire protection ready to do its job.
