Shelby County, TX — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 76-year-old Joseph Pate, who was last seen at his residence in the Fellowship Community near Joaquin.
Authorities said Pate was last seen approximately four hours before the department’s alert was issued.
He may have been walking along FM 2787 south of FM 139 or in the area of County Road 3569. Investigators also said it is possible someone may have given him a ride from the area.
Pate has Alzheimer’s and may appear more slender than in the most recent photograph provided by the Sheriff’s Office. He also currently has a full beard.
