Jasper County, TX — Search efforts are resuming Friday morning for a missing swimmer at Sam Rayburn Lake near Twin Dikes, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
Texas DPS aircraft will assist from the air, while several emergency vessels are expected to continue searching the lake.
The boat ramp at Twin Dikes will remain open.
Lake Safety Notice:
Anyone using the lake today is asked to avoid the area around Rattlesnake Island while emergency crews continue search operations.
