Harris County, TX — Authorities are responding to a major three-vehicle crash on the westbound/inbound lanes of the I-10 East Freeway after Freeport Street, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Gonzalez reported a possible fatality associated with the crash. Both the main lanes and service road are affected.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Motorist Assistance Program units are on scene assisting District 3 units with traffic control.
Drivers should avoid the area, expect significant delays and use an alternate route while emergency crews remain on scene. Motorists approaching emergency vehicles should slow down, remain alert and follow directions from personnel.
