Throckmorton County, TX — Highway 380 East toward Graham is closed to traffic as firefighters respond to the Woodson Creek Fire in eastern Throckmorton County.
According to the National Weather Service in Abilene/San Angelo, the Throckmorton County Sheriff’s Office reported the highway closure due to heavy smoke from the wildfire.
Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternate route if possible. Heavy wildfire smoke can quickly reduce visibility and create dangerous driving conditions.
Residents and travelers should remain alert for changing fire conditions and follow instructions from local authorities.
