Harris County, TX — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office recognized Detention Sergeant Andrews for what the agency described as exemplary leadership and quick action in helping ensure the safety and welfare of people in custody.

According to HCSO, Andrews serves as supervisor of the Standards & Compliance Unit and recently responded to an unexpected challenge by directing her team toward what the department described as a safe and efficient resolution.

The Sheriff’s Office also credited Andrews with showing thoughtful consideration for those in her care while maintaining operational readiness.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and HCSO recognized Andrews for her diligence, compassion and leadership.
