Groveton, TX — The Groveton Volunteer Fire Department is recognizing Johnny Facio, the youngest firefighter on its crew, for his continued commitment to serving the community.
Department officials said Facio consistently responds when called, whether during the day or overnight, while also balancing a full-time job and responsibilities outside the fire department.
As a volunteer firefighter, Facio gives his time without pay and often adjusts personal plans when emergency calls come in.
The department praised his reliability, work ethic and willingness to help whenever needed.
Groveton VFD said Facio has become someone both the department and community can count on.
