Harris County, TX — A woman accused of stealing merchandise during two separate incidents at the same Northwest Freeway store has been arrested, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies responded Aug. 9 to the 28500 block of Northwest Freeway after receiving a report of a theft in progress.

Deputies located and identified the suspect as Mary Weatherstone. Investigators allege Weatherstone took multiple items valued at $122.17 without attempting to pay.

During the investigation, deputies also linked Weatherstone to a previous theft at the same store in March 2026, when merchandise valued at $208.52 was allegedly stolen.

Weatherstone was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a theft charge. Her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 5.

The charge is an accusation, and Weatherstone is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
