Del Rio, TX — The City of Del Rio Police Department is accepting applications for entry-level police officer positions, with an application deadline set for Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at 4 p.m.
According to the department’s recruitment notice, applicants must submit an online application before the deadline. Applications will not be accepted afterward.
The employment process will include:
• Written examination
• Physical agility test
• Background investigation
• Oral interview
• Drug screening
• Physical examination
• Psychological examination
Selected entry-level police officers will also serve an 18-month probationary period.
