Avery, TX — Avery Independent School District says a student athlete was bitten by a dog Wednesday morning while on the district’s cross-country course.
According to a statement from Avery ISD, the district is working with the Red River County Sheriff’s Office to locate the dog involved and identify its owner.
The district did not release additional information about the student’s condition.
