McKinney, TX — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after a 51-year-old man was found with significant injuries along Stacy Road early Sunday morning.
According to the McKinney Police Department, a passerby spotted an individual in the westbound lanes of Stacy Road near McKinney Ranch Parkway at approximately 2:10 a.m. Aug. 9.
Officers arrived and located Christopher Patel, 51, who was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The McKinney Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit and detectives responded and took over the investigation.
Police said investigators have not identified the driver or vehicle involved.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
