Houston, TX — The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery involving a deadly weapon at a food truck on Westheimer Road.
Police said the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. July 1 in the 9500 block of Westheimer Road.
According to investigators, the suspect approached the food truck window, threatened an employee and demanded food. Police said the man then walked around the food truck, opened a door and stole a plate of food.
When the employee followed him outside, the suspect allegedly lifted his shirt and displayed a firearm. The employee returned inside the food truck, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description:
• Black male
• Skinny build
• Medium-short hair
• Long-sleeved shirt
The case is being investigated as aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon under HPD Case #846923-26.
