Edinburg, TX — Drivers are being urged to avoid a portion of Raul Longoria Road as emergency crews respond to a crash involving a gasoline tanker.
The Edinburg Fire Department is currently on scene on Raul Longoria Road, just south of Canton Road. The Pharr Fire Department is also assisting with the response.
Road Closure:
Raul Longoria Road is closed in both directions between Canton Road and Wisconsin Road.
Motorists should avoid the area and use alternate routes while emergency personnel remain on scene.

Drivers approaching emergency vehicles should slow down, move over when required and give first responders room to work safely. Do not attempt to drive around barricades or enter the closed roadway.
