Mission, TX — The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accidental electrocution death of a 65-year-old man at a rural Mission property.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 12:29 p.m. Aug. 1 to the 3800 block of Mirabel Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive man.
Deputies arrived and found 65-year-old Eudoxio Marquez. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
The medical examiner determined Marquez’s cause of death was accidental electrocution.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
