Kenedy, TX — Two people were arrested Monday after officers executing a search warrant at a Kenedy residence seized methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, THC-infused oil, firearms and cash, according to the Karnes City Police Department.
Karnes City police, assisted by the Kenedy Police Department, executed the search warrant on Aug. 10.
During the search, officers reported seizing:
• Approximately 49.9 grams of methamphetamine
• Approximately 7.06 grams of cocaine
• Approximately 1.10 pounds of marijuana
• Approximately 46 grams of THC-infused oil contained in vape pens
• Four firearms
• $1,473 in U.S. currency
• Numerous packaging materials
• A digital scale containing suspected narcotics residue
Police said two individuals were arrested and charged with offenses including possession and manufacture or delivery of controlled substances involving methamphetamine, cocaine and Penalty Group 2 substances, as well as possession of marijuana.
The names of those arrested were not provided in the information released by police.
The Karnes City Police Department credited the Kenedy Police Department for assisting with the execution of the search warrant.
