Harris County, TX — Constable Mark Herman’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of posing as utility workers to gain access to a home and steal thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry.
According to the constable’s office, the suspects went to a residence in the 5300 block of Spanish Oak Drive and told the homeowner they were investigating a reported gas line issue and needed to inspect the home’s water.
Investigators said the suspects distracted the homeowner while one of them went upstairs and allegedly stole approximately $3,000 in cash and a jewelry box.
Both suspects then fled in a pickup truck that investigators are asking the public to help identify.
