Dallas, TX — Three people were shot, including one who later died, following an early-morning shooting Sunday in South Dallas.
Dallas police responded at approximately 4:31 a.m. Aug. 9 to the 2700 block of Exline Street near Malcolm X Boulevard.
According to preliminary information, three people were shot at the location and transported to a hospital by private vehicle. One of the victims later died at the hospital.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Police said a separate arrest occurred at the crime scene after a 37-year-old man allegedly disregarded crime scene tape and officers’ directions to stay away from the area. He was arrested and charged with Interference with Public Duties, a Class B misdemeanor.
The shooting remains under investigation.
