Lakeside, TX — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a North Texas couple accused of child endangerment after four children under the age of 10 tested positive for fentanyl.
The Lakeside Police Department identified the two wanted individuals as Auston Patrick Green, 34, and Cindy Cristina Chevez Batres, 27. Police said both face multiple counts of child endangerment.
According to authorities, a joint investigation by Lakeside Police and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services found that all four children tested positive for fentanyl during medical evaluations.
Police did not immediately release additional details about how the children were allegedly exposed to the drug.
