Edcouch, TX — A woman who had been the subject of a Silver Alert and community search in Edcouch has been found deceased, according to the Edcouch Police Department.
Police said Ms. Davila was located at approximately 1:19 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, with assistance from the U.S. Border Patrol K9 and Drone Team.
Her next of kin has been notified.
The discovery follows a search in which Edcouch Police had asked residents and businesses to review surveillance footage for possible sightings of Davila. Community members provided information, video footage and other assistance during the search.
The Edcouch Police Department thanked the U.S. Border Patrol team, partner agencies and community members who assisted in efforts to locate her.
Police extended condolences to Davila’s family and loved ones and asked the community to respect their privacy as they grieve.
