Uvalde, TX — Firefighters are responding to a large fire at Hacienda Salvage on East Main Street in Uvalde Sunday afternoon.
Uvalde County Constable Precinct 6 Emmanuel Zamora reported at approximately 3:50 p.m. that the Uvalde Volunteer Fire Department was responding to the fire at the salvage business, located along East Main Street past Walmart.
Photos shared from the area show a large column of thick black smoke rising above the scene and visible from a considerable distance.
No information regarding injuries or the cause of the fire has been released at this time.
