Sabine County, TX — A 35-year-old man reported missing Friday was found Saturday morning inside a cabin at a Sabine County resort and subsequently arrested, according to the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office.
Donoavan Edward Kannard was reported missing shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.
Deputies located Kannard Saturday inside a cabin at Fin and Feather Resort that authorities said he had broken into.
During the investigation, deputies discovered Kannard had an outstanding warrant. The sheriff’s office also reported finding suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Kannard was booked into the Sabine County Jail on charges of:
• Possession of marijuana
• Driving without a license
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Failure to maintain financial responsibility
• Expired operator’s license
• Possession of a controlled substance
