Lewisville, TX — The Lewisville Police Department is highlighting K9 Ranger, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois who has served alongside the department since September 2023.
Originally from Poland, Ranger is trained in criminal apprehension, narcotics detection, evidence searches and tracking.
Police said Ranger is focused and confident while working, but off duty, he spends his time playing at home, learning new skills and enjoying time with his handler.
Ranger’s handler, Officer Robey, has more than 14 years of law enforcement experience, including nine years as a K9 handler. Before joining Lewisville Police, Robey also served on a SWAT team.
Together, Officer Robey and K9 Ranger serve the Lewisville community through the department’s K9 Unit.
