Harris County, TX — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a crash on the Westpark Tollway, according to Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office.
Precinct 5 Toll Road deputies were dispatched to the crash on the Westpark Tollway just past South Rice Avenue.
Deputies contacted the driver and reported observing multiple signs of impairment. The driver was detained, and the scene was moved off the roadway.
According to the constable’s office, deputies administered standardized field sobriety tests before contacting the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
The driver was subsequently arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
