Harris County, TX — Three people were arrested Friday after deputies executed a narcotics search warrant following a three-month investigation into suspected drug activity.
According to Harris County Precinct 2 Constable Jerry Garcia’s Office, the Special Operations Unit, assisted by the Patrol Division and U.S. Marshals Service, executed the warrant in the 8300 block of Park Place on Aug. 7.
The investigation began after authorities received numerous anonymous tips concerning alleged narcotics sales and other suspicious activity at a residence.
Deputies said several people inside the residence were detained while the warrant was executed without incident.
Authorities reported the following arrests:
• Jacoltey Gilliam, 38, was arrested on two outstanding felony warrants for family assault — impeding breath and felon in possession of a firearm.
• An unnamed 17-year-old was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
• Talyaah Collins, 23, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Deputies reported seizing cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana and mushrooms, along with several firearms. Authorities said one of the firearms had been reported stolen through the Houston Police Department.
Additional arrests connected to the case are possible, according to the constable’s office.
